Shore to Thrive End of Year Celebration – Nov 2018…

A lovely way to celebrate and acknowledge some of the awesome local people that have made great things happen in our local communities.

We celebrated Brianna Parkinson and the Kaitahi Bayswater Community Dinners and Iain Rea for his passion for our local environment and leadership in welcoming our international Godwit Visitors.

We acknowledged Janelle Taege for her commitment and enthusiasm for Zero Waste Belmont, Bridget Swan and her thoughtfulness and care developing the Bayswater School Shares and Jane Walters from Global Action Plan Oceania & the Community Recycling Centre for all her mahi and enthusiasm in the development of Repair Café Auckland, the local Zero Waste initiatives and her support for our local tamariki. Bayswater Blinders one and all…

Thanks to the fabulous Manny Moo Café crew for their generous hospitality and to Marie from Archers Sushi. Thanks to all the wonderful folks who came along and made it such a positive evening, every one of them in fact had been involved in projects this year.

Really the work of Shore to Thrive is about supporting generous, caring, passionate local people who want to make their communities better places for everyone to be in.
